His specialization includes weed sciences particularly invasive weed management, biotechnology / molecular biology, climate change, plant protection, integrated pest management (IPM), biological control of pests, and extension of modern agricultural technology for adoption in the farming community. He has been involved in the formation of Water User Associations (WUA), emphasizing climate change adaptation and resilience.
