Currently working as a Farm Manager/Research Officer of the Agricultural Research Station Mansehra, I work closely with fellow officers of the Cereal Botany Section to support the section’s management and administration. Working as a Farm Manager of the station responsible for production of Pre Basic and Basic class seed of approved varieties of the station accordance with FSCRD requirements. Also managing station watch and ward and all the activities as a state officer.  I am also involved in overseeing key focal responsibilities, contributing to research and development initiatives, finalizing research findings and assisting in scientific report writing. Key member of Technical cell and focal person of the station with Directorate of Agriculture Research. I am also responsible for managing tasks such as development of Cereal crop varieties through introduction, selection and hybridization, as well as developing and dissemination of production technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Production of Pre-Basic and Basic seed class of approved varieties for Agriculture extension department and farmers.

·         Handling essential administrative tasks, drafting research reports and providing pertinent information to the Director’s office and other relevant departments.

·         Conducting experiments on a diverse array of Cereal crops varieties and hybrids, such as Wheat, Barley, Oat, Triticale, Maize Opvs and Hybrids and Coarse rice germplasm evaluating their performance under the Hazara division climate conditions to enhance yield and quality.

·         Managing 12 acres of lands, which includes Wheat fellow by Maize and rice crop ensuring their optimal care and productivity.

·         Conducting different agronomic experiment and dissemination of approved production technology for farmers.

·         Conducting different experiments on Weedicides, Insecticides and seed care of different national and international companies for their registration purpose.

·         Facilitating and supervising agriculture graduates from various universities to support their essential practical learning.

·         Finalizing research results and assisting in the compilation of annual reports, contributing to the scientific report writing and documentation of research findings.

·         Overseeing the screening and evaluation of various Common bean varieties under local agro-climatic conditions of Mansehra region.

·         Introducing and assessing different exotic and indigenous plant cultivars for their adoption and performance. Moreover evaluation of local land races and their registration through FSC & RD.

·         Disseminating knowledge and best practices to farmers and stakeholders through various communication channels, including print, social, and electronic media.

·         Establishing and maintaining linkages between farmers and the research department to improve the quality and productivity of different crops.

·         Undertaking additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director General or designated authority.

·         Serve as the Focal Person for the East Out Research Group, Agriculture Task Force, and Research Task Force.

·          Currently also Serving as Member of Purchase and Auction committee at ARS Baffa Mansehra, Frontier Agriculture Reserch Scientist Asssociation (FARSA)
