For the past two years, he has also been actively involved in the Agriculture Reform Movement’s initiative aimed at creating international business opportunities for Pakistani farmers. During this period, he spent considerable time in Cambodia exploring agricultural trade prospects.

Although Cambodia has relatively limited agricultural activities, efforts were made to supply certain products from Pakistan that were previously being imported from Thailand. However, due to the lack of an efficient transportation and logistics network between Pakistan and Cambodia, the cost-effectiveness of these exports was not satisfactory.

As a result, the Movement has now shifted its focus toward Thailand, where Pakistan enjoys much stronger maritime transportation links. This provides better opportunities for the export of Pakistani seeds and other agricultural products, as well as for agricultural imports and exports between the two countries.

Therefore, Mr. Behroz Siddiqi is being sent to Thailand to explore the agricultural market and identify business opportunities. During his visit, he will also participate in an agricultural exhibition. The objective is to establish stronger trade relations between Pakistani farmers and Thailand’s agricultural market and to develop a comprehensive framework for long-term agricultural cooperation.
