Dr. Zahid Hanif is a qualified professional holding Doctor of Philosophy degree in Plant Biotechnology with focus on Plant Protection in the context of Invasive Weed Management from the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia, and bring over 20 years of proven expertise in the field of agriculture. My specialization includes weed sciences particularly invasive weed management, biotechnology / molecular biology, climate change, plant protection, integrated pest management (IPM), biological control of pests, and extension of modern agricultural technology for adoption in the farming community.  He has been involved in the formation of Water User Associations (WUA), emphasizing climate change adaptation and resilience.
