Dr. Waseem Bashir is Processor faculty of agriculture in Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences (luawms), Uthal, Lasbela Balochistan. Ph.D Thesis “Interactive effects of drought and cadmium stress on Soybean root morphology and gene expression” At College of Agronomy Shenyang Agriculture University, China. 14 Research Papers are on his credit.
His research background encompasses roles as a Scientific Officer at the Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) and as a Research Officer at the Coastal Agriculture Research Institute (CARI) in Bhawani, Hub, Balochistan. My doctoral research investigates the combined effects of drought and heavy metal stress on root physiology in various crop species. He has published numerous articles in reputable international journals. Currently his research interests are centered on: 1) Unraveling the physiological mechanisms involved in drought stress in crop roots; and 2) Improving crop productivity through novel cultivation techniques.
