Agriculture economy comprises of a large number of commercial activities, which are quite dependent on each other. Since the commencement of mechanized agriculture and adoption of liberalization and privatization promotion policy, trade of agro commercial sector and agro-based industry has increased manifold. Competitive market economy has emerged under prevailing scenario of WTO regime.

In the age of investment and joint venture at national and international level, it needs simplification of procedure and availability of necessary database from one source i.e. in a true sense of one window operation. Much of information is available but in scattered form, this scenario does not effectively help the policy makers for timely decision of issues of national significance. Agriculture Reform Movement (ARM) has done a tremendous job and compiled data of thousands of organizations, companies and farmers both public and private sectors country wide in the form of “GREEN PAGES” and in updating it after 15 years.

To insure production and supply of quality agro based cost effective products, and integrate package of production technology and information network is obviously essential for human resources development. In this modern era both public and private sector has institutionalized their scientific commercial activities. Apart from public sector, private sector has also established import and export setup but still has very weak linkage with stakeholder. To fill this gap ARM publishing a magazine in Urdu “Sohny Dherty” from the platform of Agriculture Reform Movement for regular contact to common farmer, agricultural professionals, policy maker, Agro Commercial Sector and Agro based Industries.

Keeping in view the cost and quality and international currency of marketing in present regime of WTO, capital investment and production should be matched base on knowledge and management skill. In the modern age of globalization and liberalization encourage partnership between different stakeholders for the benefit of farming community. Agriculture Reform Movement (ARM) working to provide agriculture services free of cost to farmers by using the tool of “Green Pages” and agriculture magazine “Sohny Dherty” and to help materialize policy for enhancing production for food security.
